Let's Go Fly a Kite

All of the rain today is making me wish for the warm weather we had last week. J and I went to the park and flew a kite on my lunch break one day when it was sunny and warm with a litte bit of wind. It made the day feel like it wasn't a work day, but a nice relaxing Saturday.

The poor quality of the cheap kite we have made me start thinking of ways to make my own, much nicer kite. I wonder if fabric with a waterproof coating would work? I'm picturing a nice striped kite with lots of colorful tails…

…but this one will do for now.
